Who is Riese & Müller?

Welcome to the pinnacle of cycling innovation and luxury!  Riese & Müller is a renowned German bicycle manufacturer recognized for producing premium electric bikes (e-bikes) that combine cutting-edge technology, innovative design, and exceptional craftsmanship.  These bikes are meticulously crafted to cater to various cycling preferences and lifestyles, ensuring a seamless blend of performance, comfort, and sustainability.  The components are largely sourced from established German brands such as Bosch, Ergon, ABUS, and Supernova.  Every bike is hand assembled in Germany and shipped around the world.

Riese & Müller was founded by Markus Riese and Heiko Müller in 1993 to sell Hot Ears, earmuffs to keep the ears warm while wearing a helmet. Their first bicycle, the folding bicycle known as the Birdy, started in the garage of Heiko Müller's parents as a university project.  From there, they developed a wide range of e-bikes for personal transport, exercise, family transport, touring, mountain biking, and hauling whatever you can fit in the bike!
